THE CHITTAGONG HILL-TRACTS LAWS (No. V) REGULATION, 1942

A Regulation to apply the Merchandise Marks Act, 1889, to the Chittagong Hill tracts. WHEREAS it is expedient to apply the Merchandise Marks Act, 1889, to the Chittagong Hill-Tracts; It is hereby enacted as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

This Regulation may be called THE CHITTAGONG HILL-TRACTS LAWS (No. V) REGULATION, 1942.

Section 2. Application of Act IV of 1889 to the Chittagong Hill- tracts

The Merchandise Marks Act, 1889, in so far as it is not inconsistent with the Chittagong Hill-tracts Regulation, 1900 or with any rules made thereunder for the time being in force, shall apply to the Chittagong Hill-tracts.
