The Printing Corporation (Vesting) Order, 1972 (President's Order)
WHEREAS it is expedient in the public interest to provide for the taking over by the Government of the undertaking of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan Limited in Bangladesh and for matters ancillary thereto;
WHEREAS it is expedient in the public interest to provide for the taking over by the Government of the undertaking of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan Limited in Bangladesh and for matters ancillary thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of Independence of Bangladesh, read with the Provisional Constitution of Bangladesh Order, 1972, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make the following Order:-
(1) This Order may be called the Printing Corporation (Vesting) Order, 1972.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,-
Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any memorandum or articles of association, or in any contract or agreement, or in any deed or other instrument, on the commencement of this Order,-
Provided that an officer or other employee so transferred shall have the option not to continue in the service of the Government.
The Government may, for the purpose of removing any difficulty arising out of, or in connection with, or in relation to the transfer of the undertaking of the Printing Corporation under Article 3, make such order as it considers expedient and any such order shall be deemed to be, and given effect to as, part of the provisions of this Order.
The Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Order
