The Primary Education Laws (Repeal) Act, 1974

An Act to repeal the Primary Education Act, 1919, the Rural Primary Education Act, 1930 and the Rural Primary Education (Supplementary Provisions) Act, 1957. WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the Primary Education Act, 1919 (Ben. Act IV of 1919), the Rural Primary Education Act, 1930 (Ben. Act VII of 1930), and the Rural Primary Education (Supplementary Provisions) Act, 1957 (E.P. Act XXVIII of 1957); It is hereby enacted as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

This Act may be called the Primary Education Laws (Repeal) Act, 1974.

Section 2. Repeal

The Primary Education Act, 1919 (Ben. Act IV of 1919), the Rural Primary Education Act, 1930 (Ben. Act VII of 1930), and the Rural Primary Education (Supplementary Provisions) Act, 1957 (E.P. Act XXVIII of 1957), are hereby repealed.
