An Ordinance to repeal the Bangladesh Malaria Eradication Board Order, 1972. WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the Bangladesh Malaria Eradication Board Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 99 of 1972), and to provide for matters ancillary thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamations of the 20th August, 1975, and the 8th November, 1975, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance :-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
(1) This Ordinance may be called the Bangladesh Malaria Eradication Board (Repeal) Ordinance, 1977.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
Section 2. Repeal of P.O. No. 99 of 1972
(1) The Bangladesh Malaria Eradication Board Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 99 of 1972), hereinafter referred to as the said Order, is hereby repealed.
(2) Upon the repeal of the said Order,-
Provided that the Government may alter their remuneration or the terms and conditions of their service if such alteration is considered necessary for the sake of uniformity and in the interest of equity in service.
(3) The Government may, for the purpose of removing any difficulty in relation to the transfer and other matters specified in sub-section (2), make such orders as it considers expedient; and any such order shall be deemed to be, and have effect as, part of the provisions of this Ordinance.
