An Ordinance to repeal the Minimum Wages (Fixation) Ordinance, 1969. WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the Minimum Wages (Fixation) Ordinance, 1969 (E.P. Ord. X of 1969); NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamations of the 20th August, 1975, and the 8th November, 1975 and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance :-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
(1) This Ordinance may be called the Minimum Wages (Fixation) (Repeal) Ordinance, 1977.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 6th day of November, 1973.
Section 2. Repeal of E.P. Ord. X of 1969
The Minimum Wages (Fixation) Ordinance, 1969 (E.P. Ord. X of 1969), is hereby repealed.
